What we collect
Only what an order needs. At checkout that is:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- The delivery address — street, city, state or region, postcode and country.
- Your card details, which are passed to the payment processor with the order.
- The contents of your bag, and the IP address the order was placed from.
We do not ask for a date of birth, a gender, a health condition or anything else about you, because nothing on this site needs it.
Card details
Card details are submitted with the order and passed to the payment processor. They are not written to a database on this site and they are not kept after the order is submitted. We cannot look up your card number, and neither can anyone who contacts our support address claiming to be you.
What is stored in your browser
Your bag is kept in your own browser's local storage under the key
ahe_cart. It never leaves your device until you place an order, and
clearing your browser data clears it. If your browser blocks storage, the site falls back to holding the
bag in memory for the length of the visit.
If you arrived from an advertising or affiliate link, a click identifier from that link may be stored and submitted with your order so the referring partner is credited. It identifies the click, not you.
Who we share it with
We share order data with the parties that are needed to actually fulfil the order:
- Our order platform, which stores the customer and order records.
- The payment processor, which takes the payment.
- The carrier, which needs the delivery address to deliver.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
The email address you give at checkout is used for the order confirmation, the shipping notification and, for a digital guide, the download itself. It is not added to a marketing list as a side effect of buying something.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and refund purposes, and then deleted. Support emails are kept while the question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email support@aurorahealthessentials.com from the address you ordered with, or tell us the order reference. We may need to keep the minimum record of a completed sale where the law requires it, and we will say so if that applies.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights — for example under the GDPR or under California law. Those rights apply whether or not this page lists them.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
